My Work
I have 7+ years of experience doing molecular biology and also have worked on bioinformatics and mathematical modeling projects. I also really enjoy science writing and have written articles for the Berkeley Science Review and for the BosLab blog. One of my most favorite aspects of research is making beautiful yet informative images through microscopy or data representation. Outside of work I love photography and doing time-lapse photography in nature or in the lab.

I created the song "Dream Bean" while I was writing my PhD dissertation at UC Berkeley. I used the caustic application.
